This year, I have learned who I am as a leader and a member of 

Drama Club more than ever. At the root of everything, I value kindness. 

I want nothing more than for this club to be the best it can be, and I 

know that I can assist in this through my role. I want to help my fellow 

club members feel their best at all times. I want everyone to know that 

they are wanted, that they are supported, and that they belong here. I am 

willing to do whatever I can for Mr. Hewitt and the club members in 

order for things to stay smooth. I will facilitate the executive board with 

collaboration at the front of the mind, and I have tons of grand ideas I 

hope we can pull off. Through my experience in co-directing our Honors 

Theatre Production show, I have learned that being a kind, considerate, 

and caring leader makes people not only happy but motivated as well. I 

understand each step of the journey and can truly relate to every single 

person in this club. I want to use my understanding of this club to better 

grasp how everyone is feeling at each step in the production. 

My focus is not only on the intrapersonal aspects of the club, but 

also the tactical. I remember how I only began acting because the 

President at the time convinced me to get out of my comfort zone, and I 

hope to help not only recruit new members but ease them into the club. 

There are also a bunch of activities I hope we can plan as the Executive 

Board, to have more fun as a club outside of our shows. 

I truly care so much about this club and the people in it and I could 

not be more honored to take on the role of Drama Club President.
