Scholarship Committee

1. The Committee shall prepare the scholarship application and criteria recommendations for approval by the Executive Board. Application and criteria must be presented by the January meeting.


2. Review and award scholarships, based on the criteria approved by the Executive Board. Awards shall be reported to the President and the Faculty Advisors by the Chairperson. Announcement of the winners shall be done in accordance with Century High School policy for awarding and announcing of scholarships.
3. All information reviewed during the application process shall remain confidential. Members are prohibited from discussing the application process outside of the committee meeting wherein the scholarship applications are considered and awarded.
4. Members: Chairperson, appointed by the President and 4- 5 members approved by the Executive Board. Faculty Advisors may participate on the committee in a non-voting status. No member may be a parent or guardian of a senior or a member of the family of a senior during their tenure on the committee.
